This dramatic setting and the surrounding area has been the backdrop of movies such as The Postman, Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, and Rooster Cogburn. There are miles of hiking trails and several thousand climbs in the park. Along your hike through the canyon, you might see golden eagles, prairie falcons, mule deer, river otter and beaver.
